Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 22, 2026 • Last updated: September 22, 2026
Summary for Readers: 3asqManga is an offline-first manga reading tracker. We do not require an account, we do not store your data on external servers, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. Everything you enter remains securely stored on your local device.

1. Overview & Core Philosophy

At 3asqManga ("we", "our", or "the app"), we believe your reading habits are personal. We built 3asqManga to serve as a reliable, offline personal notebook for tracking your manga progress.

This Privacy Policy explains how 3asqManga handles information when you download, install, and use our application on iOS and iPadOS devices.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Unlike many modern applications, 3asqManga operates completely offline. We do not collect:

  • Personal identifying details such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
  • Account credentials or cloud profiles (there is no sign-in or account registration).
  • Location data or GPS information.
  • Device tracking identifiers, advertising IDs (IDFA), or telemetry data.
  • Payment information or credit card numbers.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

When you use 3asqManga to track your manga reading, all data is written directly to a local SQLite database located within the application's private sandbox storage on your Apple device. This includes:

  • Manga Details: Titles, authors, and personal reading notes you choose to input.
  • Reading Position: Volume, Chapter (including decimal chapters like 12.5), and Page numbers.
  • Reading Status: Whether a manga is categorized as Reading, Planned, Completed, Paused, or Dropped.
  • Progress History: Timestamped logs of your past reading updates and optional notes.

None of this information is transmitted over the internet or accessible by us or any third party.

4. iOS Device Permissions (Photo Library)

3asqManga offers an optional feature allowing you to set custom cover images for manga in your library.

When you tap "Choose Photo" or "Add Cover", the app requests read access to your iOS Photo Library (via the standard Apple Photo Picker). If granted:

  • Only the specific image you pick is accessed.
  • The chosen image is copied directly into the app's local covers/ directory on your device.
  • The image is never uploaded to any cloud server, third party, or external endpoint.

You can revoke Photo Library access at any time via your iOS Settings app.

5. Third-Party Analytics & Advertising

3asqManga contains zero third-party tracking libraries, zero analytics SDKs, and zero advertisement networks. We do not use Google Firebase, Meta SDK, telemetry trackers, or behavioral profiling tools.

6. Data Retention & Your Control

You retain complete ownership and full control over your data:

  • Editing & Deleting: You can edit or delete individual manga entries, reading positions, and history logs directly inside the app at any time.
  • Complete Removal: If you uninstall or delete the 3asqManga application from your device, iOS will automatically erase the local SQLite database and all associated cover images permanently.

7. Children’s Privacy

Because 3asqManga does not collect or transmit personal information from any user, it does not knowingly collect or solicit any data from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy in future versions of the app, the updated version will be posted on this website along with an updated "Last Updated" date.
